Lou Kohl Morgan

Lou Kohl Morgan studied studio art at Illinois Wesleyan University and was awarded a BFA in painting in 1964. After five years of graduate study at the Universities of Wisconsin, Michigan and Iowa; she received an MA and MFA in painting. She has taught Art History, Etching, Intaglio and Lithography, and Drawing at UNH, and The University of New Mexico, The University of California at the Santa Reparata Studio in Florence and Advanced Figure Drawing at The University of New Mexico. Her work reflects the love and admiration for the Renaissance drawings she first saw in Florence. She is a member of the Ogunquit Art Association, and is represented by the Mast Cove Gallery in Kennebunkport, ME. Her drawings are part of the Drawings and Prints Collection of the Boston Public Library in Boston, MA, and the Drawing Collection of the Palace of the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco, CA.
