SA 6: Intermediate Drawing

Bring drawing tools & paper to first class. Additional supplies will be reviewed.
The intermediate drawing student is one who has had experience in developing shape and volume with graphite and charcoal on white and toned paper. Perspective and composition will be quickly reviewed. Emphasis will be placed on further development of the "Elements of Art" such as the space around objects and foreshortening. Students will develop further knowledge of the "Principles of Art" by drawing complex study arrangements. This class will also explore the use of inks, pens, markers, and other drawing tools. We will advance from still life to full figure drawing, learning Artistic Anatomy and Morphology.
