Dennis Poirier
Dennis Poirier is an artist from the Cape Ann tradition. He was influenced by the finest painters of that region, including Don Stone, Paul Strisik, John Terelak and Salvatore Grasso. He was the first student of the Gloucester Academy of Fine Art in 1977. He has lived in Maine since 1982 and maintains a studio and gallery in North Berwick. Dennis is a member of the Copley Society of Art, Boston, the North Shore Arts Association, the Rockport Art Association, and the Oil Painters of America.
