Indigo Dying has been used all over the world for at least 6000 years. The Indigo plant dyes fabric in a variety of shades of blue, commonly associated with denim. In this 4 hour workshop you will learn Shibori, the Japanese tradition of folding and manipulating fabrics to make intricate patterns for dyeing, along with the history and process of Indigo dyeing. You will leave the workshop with beautiful naturally dyed garments and the knowledge to continue this addictive technique on your own!
