Oils, Watercolor, Acrylics or Pastels! This class offers students the opportunity to delve into the world of color and experience developing their eye and technique as they work toward their own personal creative expression. The class will include exercises in color values, temperature, and chroma, learning to paint color notes, painting in different keys and the differences between natural color and expressive color. We will view works from master and contemporary painters and discuss their techniques and use of color. Exercises will be alla prima still life set ups. This class is for anyone interested in exploring color for the first time or for the experienced painter of landscape, portraits or still life who wishes to improve the level of their work.
