It’s time to honor the season of flowers. Their organic forms and vivid colors continue to inspire new generations of artists. In the relaxed setting of this class, we will bring in some of our favorite flowers to create a visual feast to paint from. While brushwork can enhance drawing, you do not necessarily need to be a great draftsman to create satisfying watercolors. The minimal use of drawing allows the paint to move and breathe. Resolve the issue of backgrounds in simplified, complimentary ways. Learn more about color choices for mixing. Demonstrations, critiques, and individual help will be ongoing. This is an opportunity for you to step out of your comfort zone and interact with other artists as we celebrate summer with creative style.
