An écorché is a figure study in art sculpted showing the muscles of the body without skin. This classical exercise will help students gain a stronger grasp of human anatomy and structure. This 10-week course will explore the inner workings of the skeletal system and major muscle groups. Classes will include demonstrations, anatomical studies, sculpting a 1/3 scale plasteline écorché, and more. $150 Model and clay fee included in tuition.
