SA 2 SEACOAST with Tom Glover
10 Weeks
Monday 2 - 5
February 3 – April 7
Use the seacoast as fodder for your creative imagination. We will work from photos, sketches and even memories of Seacoast locales. Any medium will work—oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, pastel, collage, fabric, charcoal, etc. Some artists who work/worked in the Seacoast will be referenced such as Tarbell, Woodbury, Fiske, Cheney, Hopper and more. We will look at the different styles, discuss the approaches to subject matter, compare more traditional techniques with modernist influences and try to put some of the works in historic context
