SA 7 WATERCOLOR WINTER with Margaret Dwyer

$285.00

6 Weeks

Thursday 9:30 – 1

February 6 – 20, March 6 - 20

New England winters are everchanging. We enter a frosty world of frozen ponds, wintry woods, warm lights, moody skies, and falling snow. In this class, we will explore a variety of techniques and color choices that will capture the essence of this season. This subject offers a chance to try a unique palette of colors and better understand the effects of transparent paints vs. opaque ones. The use of white is important in watercolor. Demonstrations will address when to leave the white of the paper, use masking fluid, or add white ink. We will also have fun with some watercolor “tricks” that will add unique flair to your paintings. Engage with winter through an artistic lens alongside fellow watercolor artists! All levels welcome!
