Bring in some of your favorite flowers to create a visual feast to paint from. This workshop will focus primarily on expressions through brushwork with little or no drawing. Good brushwork can produce lively results without relying on the framework of a drawing to begin a painting. Resolve the issue of backgrounds in simplified, complimentary ways. Learn more about the properties of color and color choices for mixing. Like a proper garden party, tea and cake will be provided. Demonstrations, critiques, and individual help will be ongoing. Step out of your comfort zone and interact with other likeminded students as we welcome summer in style. Bring your own lunch.
