This class is perfect for first-time potters or those who need a refresher! The primary emphasis of this course will be learning to get comfortable with the clay as it goes from the wheel to kiln. You will get introduced to the basics of wheel throwing, wedging and various other techniques like trimming, handles, surface treatments and glazing. Bring an old towel. $70 Lab fee includes 25 lbs. clay, a basic 8 piece tool kit, glazes, and firing costs up to 8 pieces.
